UPCOMING FILM SCREENING

The Casual Enormity of Adam Palmer

Thursday, July 2, 2026 | Silverthorne Pavilion

About the Film

Join us for a special screening of The Casual Enormity of Adam Palmer, a Colorado-made documentary honoring the life and legacy of Adam Palmer — a mountain town sustainability leader, outdoor enthusiast, musician, family man, Eagle Town Council member, Holy Cross Energy board member, and former Eagle County Director of Sustainability.

Adam was instrumental in launching the Energy Smart program in 2010 and served on the Advisory Board of Energy Smart Colorado until his unexpected passing in 2021.

Through stories from friends, colleagues, and fellow community leaders, the film examines how one person’s everyday actions can inspire lasting change.

Directed by local filmmaker Todd Anders Johnson, the documentary highlights Adam’s belief that community, innovation, and deliberate action can create meaningful solutions to challenges ranging from clean energy and housing to transportation and environmental stewardship.

As Johnson notes, the film is not only about remembrance — it is about inspiring continued action and connection through the “ripple effect” Adam created in his work and relationships.
